A highly recruited goaltender, Scott Rowan has spent three seasons in a back-up roll. With the talent and drive conducive to success, he will look to fill in as the starting goalie this season, following the graduation of Yann Danis '04. 2003-2004: Played in two games last season, playing just under 10 minutes of relief at Colgate ... Made one save in that game ... Picked up a 1-1 tie with a 25-save effort against UConn ... Named to the ECAC Honor Roll following the UConn game. 2002-2003: Played in one game for the Bears, posting a 4-0 shutout over Iona with 19 saves in his first career game ... Earned 3rd Star honors. 2001-2002: Did not see action in his rookie season, serving as the back-up goalie. Before Brown: Rowan has spent two years (1999-2001) playing with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the AJHL. A two-time AJHL All-Star with Sherwood Park, Rowan was both the MVP and the Rookie of the Year following the 1999-2000 season. A member of the All-Rookie team in 1999-2000, Rowan was a Second Team selection the following season, finishing 2000-2001 with a 3.42 goals against average and a 0.908 save percentage.
